Program Overview

Understanding how businesses and organizations work,taking profound economic decisions, managing teams or maybe starting your own enterprise – does this sound interesting to you?

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration (German: “Betriebswirtschaftslehre”) will give you theoretical and practical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to understanding of economic processes in the business and international economic environment. You will be able to anticipate economic interrelationships and to take management decisions with an optimal return on investment accordingly.

Our graduates take up careers in international businesses, commerce, banking, public service and non-profit sector and anywhere else where taking sound economic decisions, analysing business processes and skilled team management is needed. The B.Sc. degree also gives you the option of pursuing a Master’s degree to further expand and deepen your knowledge.

Program structure

The curriculum of the program consists of mandatory and elective modules. The mandatory modules will give you a strong foundation in core disciplines a well-versed manager has to master: economics, finance, management, accounting and foreign languages. The elective modules will give you an opportunity to widen your knowledge by a number of specialisations.

Students choose two out of seven majors to enrich their study experience by different perspectives:

Modules for International and Exchange Students

As an international student you can choose to study the full BSc. Business Administration Program or spend one or two semesters as an exchange student with us.

As an exchange student you can select different English-taught business modules from the BSc. Business Administration Program or any other BSc program in the winter and the summer term. You can find an overview on our webpage under the individual study program.

Also, were offering intensive German modules (4 credits), semester-long German modules (2.5 credits) for all levels as well as interdisciplinary modules i.e. Engineering Ethics, Digital Emotions, European Identities are offered for all international students (2.5 credits) during the winter and summer semester.
